• We began our journey with YouTube subtitle translation in 2019, and since then, we've rapidly expanded, developing our unique processes. We've successfully extended our services beyond YouTube to encompass high-quality videos, webtoons, and web novels. Our team secured Series B investment in 2021 and is currently gearing up for even more growth.

Key Responsibilities.

• Establish quality control and perform final quality checks on Japanese projects (video and industrial sectors).
• Ensure consistency and quality in Japanese projects (using CAT tools or our proprietary solutions).
• Develop Japanese project design/analysis and create guidelines.
• Handle in-house translation and proofreading.
• Assess and manage new resources, such as freelance translators and proofreaders.
• Collaborate with project managers (PM) to facilitate communication and task execution.
• Provide feedback and guidance to freelancers.

Qualifications.

• Individuals with experience in Japanese video and industrial translation/review (career description must be attached).
• Those who can work from our office in Gangnam.
• Strong communication skills in Korean or English.

Preferred Qualifications.

• JLPT N1 score of 150 points or higher or JPT score of 900 points or higher.
• TOPIK level 6
• Minimum 1 year of related work experience in an interpretation and translation company.
• Experience in localizing online lecture video platforms (Coloso, Class 101, Udemy, etc.).
• Experience in industrial and gaming field localization.
• Ability to provide proof of experience and qualifications.

Working conditions.

• Location: Voithru Headquarters
• Salary: KRW 2.8 million to 4 million per month
• Contract duration: 6 months
• Working days: Monday-Friday
• Working hours: 10:00 - 19:00 (including a 1-hour break from 12:30 to 13:30)

Hiring Process.

• Document screening > Translation/review test > Interview > Final acceptance.
• Applicants who pass the document screening will be provided with interview schedules as soon as possible, and the results of the document review will be emailed within two weeks from the application date.
• It takes approximately 2-3 weeks from the application date to notification of final acceptance results, and the start date can be adjusted.
• Employment may be canceled if false information is discovered in job application documents, even after employment has been confirmed.
• For foreign applicants, working conditions may change, or employment may be canceled based on visa type.
